Description

"simple" is a pixel art drawing, depicting a full-body Koishi against a white background. Her cords are omitted to keep the clean look.

Outlines were only used where white pixels border the background, and only 4 colors were used for the entire piece. The image is also quite low-resolution, giving a stark pixel-like effect.

Background

"simple" was originally just made as a little doodle for a project someone I know did. Eventually, I ended up liking how it turned out and finished the rest of the body as well. Out of my earlier works, this one is probably one of the best, being clean and simple, while not having any major issues, although it would be more fair to say that they were hidden by the low resolution.

The name of this piece was given afterwards, "simple" being chosen simply because the drawing was aimed to be as minimalistic and simple as possible.

Techniques

There were intentionally only a few colors used, in order to preserve the simple feeling of the drawing. The torso and arms parts were angled in 45 degrees and right angles with minimized overlap to reduce visual clutter in the area.
