Description

"hifuu club 2025" depicts photos of hi, fuu, ku, ra and bu on a wooden surface, with Renko and Maribel's hats partially visible in the corners.

Motive

I wanted to wrap up the year, and especially Hifuu Month with some kind of recap. Therefore, I took the 5 drawings that each make up one letter of the word "Hifuu Club" in Japanese, and compiled them in one image. The goal was to make it look like a collection of photos of the year, being stored safely somewhere in their home.

Process

This drawing was predominantly made in paint.NET, with most of the effects being a result of cropping, drawing shapes, applying outlines, etc. Renko's hat was drawn using a simple circle, while Merry's was created in Sketchbook, and then imported into the .pdn file.
