Description

"bu" is a drawing of Renko and Maribel with their hands forming a heart shape. Zenkou Temple can be seen in the background.
The designs for the characters are inspired by those from Neo-traditionalism of Japan.

Motive

This drawing is the ninth and final drawing in the 2025 Hifuu Month Collection, as well as a tribute to Neo-traditionalism of Japan.

Process

This drawing was mostly created using one textured brush, giving the elements some texture. The background was drawn using a reference image.
For the hands forming a heart, I drew one of them and copied and flipped it to make the other during the sketch process, and then gave them some differences while tracing the lineart.
For the hands at the bottom, I drew one of the hands using my own as a reference, and then constructed the other based on the locations of the fingers.
