Description

"bar" is a drawing of Renko and Maribel looking at each other in the bar from Dateless Bar "Old Adam".

Background

This drawing was made while I was active on wplace, and I needed a new drawing to paint. Of course, drawings like chat wouldn't work as well due to the amount of colors. That's why I decided to draw with flat shading again, but instead of doing it in the style used for bsky, I wanted to revisit the art style I used for blossom instead.

This drawing was created impulsively while I was working on another one, which is also why this relatively simple style was used, and is also the reason it lacks a sketch image at the bottom.

Techniques

Because I was already working on a few other artworks at the time, as well as just generally wanting to finish it quickly, the hands were somewhat rushed. However, to make it seem natural, I intentionally made them slightly different. For the other pair of hands in the back, I simply copied the hands on the front and downscaled them a bit, and then adjusted them slightly to make it seem more natural.
