Description

"mirror" is a drawing of Renko looking through a black mirror, seeing Maribel without her face on the other side. The background is cracked glass, with ominous eyes staring at Renko.
The mirrors on the side reflect Renko.

Background

I wanted to make a more creepy drawing for Halloween, and remembered that "Black Mirror on the Wall" by 暁Records existed. So, I drew this artwork that carries a similar vibe, but with Renko and Merry's roles reversed.

Techniques

Most of the drawing was done on one layer, with some alpha masking making up the vignettes. The brush used was a simple pen brush, decreasing in size as I went, going from blocking out the shapes to filling in the details. I applied a desaturation filter and chromatic aberration afterwards on my PC.
