Description

"nap" is a drawing of Renko and Maribel taking a nap while leaning against a wall, holding hands.
The background is a pale beige color meant to evoke warmth, as well trying to visually represent paper to doodle on, which is (I believe) somewhat commonly used to portray thoughts or dreams (which I further emphasized using the pencil-colored stars).

Motive

I went to a comic library near my city with some of my friends, one made specifically for comics.
They didn't only have an assortment of comics (although it was pretty lacking in the yuri department), but they also had various booths and lessons and whatnot. One of them was a Wacom drawing tablet with Clip Studio Paint installed anyone could try out for free, so instead of looking for yuri books I never did find, I spent the rest of my time drawing this.
Because I rarely used Clip Studio Paint before, as well as having a much stricter time limit due to being bound to the operating times of the library, it did come out messier than usual. Also because of that, I didn't really have a lot of prior motivation, as the entire drawing was done fully impromptu.
I specifically went for a simpler shading style and a more chibi artstyle due to the time constraints.

Process

This drawing was created with Clip Studio Paint, mostly using the textured G Pen (I think that's what it was called). Most of the shading is simple cel-shading using one darker tone for each distinct color, along with the red overlay layers on the exposed skin parts.
