Description

"journey" is a drawing of Renko and Merry kissing in front of a sunrise. The flowers depicted are kiri, miyagino hagi and nemoto shakunage, as they are in the cover of Unknown Flower, Mesmerizing Journey. The text on the top reads: "December 12th is Hifuu Hifuu Day".

Background

This drawing is the sixth drawing in the 2025 Hifuu Month Collection and the entry for Unknown Flower, Mesmerizing Journey in the "Hifuu Roadmap Project". The purpose of this drawing was to commemorate Hifuu Hifuu Day (12/12).

Techniques

The flowers and the background was drawn using a more natural brush, while multiple plain brushes were used for the characters. Lots of rim lighting and subsurface scattering was utilized to emphasize the sunrise.
